Proud to present the new trailer to my new short/music video, "Beat Lab". This is one of those spur of the moment projects that I threw together, calling up old childhood friends as actors and family as filming crew. This was made with budget only for food and tapes. All equipment I own and lights from Home Depot. Shooting took place at my friend Scott Digital Martin's house as well as my parents' house in Olympia, WA.
Cast: Scott Digital Martin, Scott Knackstedt, Jimmy Locke
Crew Directed by Al'n Duong Music by Scott Digital Martin Camera Assistant: Daniel Cook Sound: Hien Duong Still Photography: Kim Nguyen Make up: Thu Tran
Next project to shoot on November 7th will be an untitled music video project, again featuring the music of Scott "Digital" Martin. On the talent side, I've recruited two of my very good friends Scott Knackstedt and Jimmy Locke as actors. This will be a reunion of the crew who brought the "Legends of OHS" to life, a successful kung fu series we made during our high school days in Olympia.
Video Synopsis: FBI try to catch a man believed to have the ability to teleport a dangerous alien life form to Earth.
I'm proud to announce that my short film, Number 5ive, was invited to be shown in Sweden at the Sensurround Malmo International Music Film Festival, November 16-22. It's always a great honor to be invited to show my work at different venues. Crossing my fingers!
